End of Summer
We are throwing an end of the summer party for the kids and some of their friends. It is still 96 degrees here (not too bad considering we live in the desert) and still swimming weather. But the weather changes so quickly here and soon it will be too cold to swim. The party was one of my husband's idea's. He loves to do this kind of stuff. I don't mind helping as long as he doesn't become too controling.
My oldest step-daughter, Rikki, had her 18th birthday two days ago. Her mom had all of the boys that she hangs out with send her flowers. It was really cute. She loved it! One of the boys decided that flowers wasn't enough so he took her to dinner and ice cream. Sweet!
People are starting to come so I gotta go!
